I've been making bows since 2002. Before that, I repaired stringed instruments and played viola in an orchestra. In 2002, I studied bow making at Gregor Walbrodt's workshop in Berlin. There, over the course of several years, I mastered the profession of bow maker (Bogenmacher).
In 2007, he won a silver medal in the Tchaikovsky Competition in the Master of Instruments and Bows category. In 2010, he received an honorary diploma from the Violin Society of America (VSA) competition.
In 2014, he received 4 main prizes at the Masters Competition in Paris for his cello bow.
In the same 2014, he received a bronze medal at the masters competition in Mittenwald (Germany).
Since 2012, I have regularly participated in numerous European exhibitions of musical instrument and bow makers, including Salon du Violon (France), EKHO (Belgium), Darling Publication (Germany), and Singer-Polignac Foundation (France). My work can be found in many orchestras, including WDR Köln, Wiener Philharmoniker, Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, the Bolshoi Theater Orchestra, and others.
